Members of GLVAR have several options to fulfill their GLVAR and State education requirements. Continuing education courses are available to members each month at the Association.The Following are Classes which will Satisfy the NAR Quadrennial Requirement

The National Association of REALTORS® Mandatory Quadrennial Code of Ethics Training
Effective January 1, 2001 through December 31, 2004, and for successive four (4) year periods thereafter, REALTORS® are required to complete a 2 1/2 hour course on ethics. New members are also required to take a 2 1/2 hour orientation on ethics upon becoming REALTORS®.
To assist members and local association implementation, the National Association of REALTORS® developed two online ethics training courses - one for new member orientation and the other for existing REALTOR® members.
This course has been modified to now include an option for commercial specific content/case studies.
These courses are accessible by Clicking Here and they meet the required learning objectives and criteria provided for in Policy Statements 47 and 48, NAR Code of Ethics and Arbitration Manual.

This class examines the good and bad of our real estate profession. It, first, gives statistics of 23 professional groups provided by the Harris Polling Group. This is included to hopefully have the student understand where we stand and why changes are necessary. Next, the class provides detailed definitions of good conduct / performance and bad conduct / performance. This included so each student can do a self inventory of their own conduct / performance. The class then provides NRS, NAC laws and regulations related to real estate agents. In order to reach a higher level of performance, a good understanding of these laws and regulations is necessary. The course then provides actual cases where real estate agent have been fined, suspended or lost their licensees. The rules of these other jurisdictions are very similar to Nevada. It is hoped that seeing what can happen will be a wakeup call to not have such discipline occur with the students reviewing these cases. Finally, the course highlights certain ethical pledges and includes the Code of Ethics. THIS COURSE MEETS NAR'S QUADRENNIAL ETHICS TRAINING REQUIREMENT.

PT.05001, Module E, 3 hours Professional Conduct, Etiquette & Ethics This Course covers a wide range of ethical topics and issues. It fist discusses ethics in general terms. It then asks numerous ethical questions pertaining to a wide range of topics. Various NRS and NAC Sections are then included to both analyze and answer these and other ethical questions. Agency relationship issues are included and various agency forms. A short coverage of the REALTOR Code of Ethics is included as these standards are worth discussing under the subject of ethics for REALTORS and non-REALTORS.
