GLVAR hosts April 7 panel discussion on local housing market

GLVAR statistics, expiring tax credit and nationwide open house among topics

Who:
Members of the Greater Las Vegas Association of REALTORS (GLVAR) and the public are invited to attend and ask questions of local housing analyst Dennis Smith, owner of Home Builders Research, as well as GLVAR President Rick Shelton and former GLVAR President Devin Reiss.

What:
GLVAR is hosting a free panel discussion on the latest statistics, issues and trends impacting the housing market in Southern Nevada.  GLVAR will be releasing its latest housing statistics during this event.  Its board and staff members will also be on hand to answer questions about the hundreds of local homes expected to be showcased for sale during the first annual REALTOR® Nationwide Open House Weekend, to be held April 10 and 11.
Members of the GLVAR, the news media and the public are encouraged to attend this event and ask questions during the panel discussion, which is expected to address topics such as the federal tax credit for first-time and repeat homebuyers that is set to expire on April 30.
 

When:
The event begins at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 7.

Where:
The GLVAR's building is located at 1750 E. Sahara Ave., east of Maryland Parkway and west of Eastern Avenue.  The event will be held on the second floor.
