"I heard that there was an upgrade. I didn't notice anything. What happened?"
On July 13th MLXchange was upgraded to version 5.1.1. There were several enhancements that came with this upgrade. Some you may have noticed. For those of you who didn't notice anything, we thought that a summary might be in order.
Message of the Day – Cut and paste now works from the message of the day. Some Brokers want to add sections of the Message of the Day to their company newsletters. This is now possible. Highlight the area you want to reproduce, right click and copy. Then paste to whatever application you need.
Home Page – There is now a Temporarily Off Market separate category on the Home Page Inventory Watch.
Client Manager – The user interface has been greatly improved. There are obvious buttons on the bottom of the screen. Also the "History" tab has been replaced by the "Tasks" tab for those of you looking for the history of your clients' emails. The "Client Gateway" tab also has some enhancements. For example, your client may not want to see the Client Gateway and just view the reports as you email them. You can select that here.
Listing Maintenance/Detail View – There is an Edit button on the left side of the screen if you decide you'd like to edit your listing while you are looking at the Detail View.
Web Site – There are some more templates available. In addition, there is now the ability to display Designation logos to the bottom of your website. Simply go to Settings - Personalize - Contact Information and select your designations. This information will then be on the footer of your MLX Professional Website.
Prospecting – You can now choose per client how they will receive their auto-notifications. The choices are: As a report link, or within your website (Private Client View).
MarketLinx has a variety of classes, as well as computer labs to help you with any MLS issues you might have.
