The Southern Nevada Home Builders Association recently presented a President's Special Award to Irene Vogel, longtime chief executive officer of the Greater Las Vegas Association of REALTORS®, for her outstanding contributions to the community and Nevada's home building industry.
SNHBA President Frank Wyatt of Pinnacle Homes presented the award and praised Vogel's decades of work in the industry.

"She's a legend in the real estate community, and she embodies the best qualities of that organization and its members," he said. "Irene has worked with the home builders association and in particular our Irene (Porter), for many years on important issues such as homeowner associations, construction defect litigation, real estate licensing, education, the environment and local government ordinances. Her friendship, expertise and wealth of knowledge have been very valuable to this association. We're losing a true leader in our business community and a friend to this association."
