Current Class Schedule



GLVAR is happy to offer a series of classes to members on computers, the Internet, Mac, and Microsoft Office products!  The Center offers a State-of-the-Art Training Lab with 12 student stations, over-flow seating and full multi-media abilities.  Because of the limited space, there is a nominal charge of $35.00 per course. The $35.00 charge will be refunded to your GLVAR account after confirmed attendance at the course. This makes training FREE to all GLVAR members! All attendees will receive a Certificate of Completion and gain invaluable knowledge!

Print pictures and attachments that you receive.
Organize messages with attachments to make them easy to find (even if you've filed them away in folders in your mailbox).
Know your choices for including pictures and files with your e-mail messages so that you can send them the way you want to.
Avoid sending a blocked attachment. (And know what to tell the sender if you receive a message with one.)
Use the right type of calendar entry for each occasion.
Use reminders to remember what's in your calendar.
Use recurrence to quickly schedule items that occur more than once.
Show time in your calendar according to your needs.
Identify the basic components required for organizing a meeting and know what goes on behind the scenes.
Set up a meeting, see who's coming, make changes, and keep everyone updated.
