JACK WOODCOCK, CCIM, CRS
Originally form Atkinson, North Carolina, Jack Woodcock left there in 1961 and joined the U.S. Air Force. He served with distinction for eleven years, with tours of duty at various American military installations, including the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. in the Command and Control Center for Air Force One. Jack was awarded two Air Force commendation medals, as well as the Bronze Star for meritorious combat service while serving a four-year tour in Southeast Asia. In October 1971 he was transferred from Vietnam to Nellis Air Force Base. He was honorably discharged from the military in October 1972.

He began his real estate career in the summer of 1974 and has achieved the designations of Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and Graduate, REALTOR?? Institute (GRI). He has also obtained his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM).

In November 1979, he and two other REALTORS?? founded the Americana Group, REALTORS??. In December 1980, the Americana Group was selected over all other firms in the area to be the representative for the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Service in Southern Nevada. The Americana Group became the undisputed leader in all areas of Real Estate in Las Vegas with over 600 sales people and a market share of almost 28 percent. In March 1999, the Americana Group became a member of the Prudential Real Estate Network. A new company was formed as a result of a merger by the Americana Group with a Nevada subsidiary of Pickford Realty, Ltd., Prudential Real Estate??s largest affiliate doing business as Prudential California Realty.
